See Regina Martyrum.
Patience is depicted as a woman in bronze-coloured armour holding a lance in her right hand in a throwing position. On her head she wears a helmet with a plume of blue and brown feathers. She is leaning on her shield. Two children accompany the figure, one of whom holds up the column which symbolizes Fortitude. Her clothing is ochre and pinkish in colour, standing out against the background.
The Allegory of Fortitude is located on the south-east section of the painting.
