This drawing, like the set of preparatory drawings for the rest of the engravings in the series, was part of the Carderera collection and subsequently passed to the Prado National Museum, where it is now kept.
In this preparatory drawing Goya works with great precision, depicting an image that does not differ substantially from engraving no. 74, This is the Worst!
The wolf in the foreground writes before a monk who holds the inkwell. In the background, a crowd of people can be seen watching this moment, although on the right-hand side of the drawing there is a figure standing with his arms open and raised, which Goya eliminated in the engraving.
