Análisis artístico
This is a portrait of Goya's nephew on his mother's side, who died in 1879. The half-length portrait shows the child in front of a dark background, wearing a dress coat and waistcoat, with a white scarf tied around his neck. He is turning his head slightly to look out at the viewer, his large eyes revealing a certain shyness.
