See Young woman with forehead wearing a small hat.
Of the drawings that Valentín Carderera owned from Album A, which are no longer preserved or are unaccounted for, three are known indirectly through copies, perhaps made by Carderera himself, which have been catalogued as "copy a", "copy b" and "copy c". Copies "b" (201 x 115 mm) and "c" come successively from Valentín Carderera, Eduardo Carderera Ponzán (1880) and Mª Pilar Carderera (widow of Eduardo Carderera, 1922). The Museo del Prado acquired them from the heirs of the latter (Luis, Fernando and Alfonso Carderera Carderera) in 1963. Copy b" ( Prado Museum, D4158, 201 x 115 mm) includes the inscription: Copy by [almost erased] Goya of the 1st book when he went to S. Lucar with / the Duchess of Alba (in pencil, below).
