Análisis artístico

For the artistic and technical analysis of the complete series, see Maja and Celestina.

In this bust portrait we see the profile of an elderly man, with white beard and hair, balding on top. The man is holding what appears to be a hat, with which he is begging. The sorrowful expression on his face betrays his suffering and the awful state he finds himself in.
